Grammy-winning R&B legend Peabo Bryson, known as the “Voice of Love,” died on June 2, 2026, at age 75. He passed away in Marietta, Georgia, following complications from a stroke.

Born in South Carolina, Bryson began performing as a teenager before achieving massive solo R&B success. He became world-renowned for timeless duets like “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love” and solo hits like “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again.”

Bryson earned two Grammy Awards for iconic Disney hits: “Beauty and the Beast” with Céline Dion and “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle. His warm vocals made his music a staple at weddings and major life celebrations worldwide.
