A hushed crowd watched in terror as a massive lion approached a crying little girl in the middle of a dusty enclosure.
Instead of running, she dug into the dirt and pulled out a framed photograph of a proud lion. Holding it up to the giant predator, she said softly, “Look, it’s me.
”The lion paused, his fierce gaze softening as he looked from the picture to the brave child.
With a gentle rumble, he lowered his enormous head, and the little girl wrapped her arms around his golden mane in a quiet, miraculous embrace.
