As I held Deborah’s hand during her final moments, a mix

of sadness and relief overcame me—my vibrant daughter, who fought a brave battle with bowel cancer, was finally free from pain.

Despite being a mother of three, losing Deborah, who passed away at 40 after a five-and-a-half-year strugglehas been incredibly hard, especially for her 16-year-old and 14-year-old children,
