The memorial belongs to Steven Paul Owens, who died in 2021, and his family said the hidden message was a private joke that reflected his playful personality and the way he showed affection to those close to him.
While some people found the tribute funny and personal, cemetery officials reportedly objected to the profanity and argued that the stone was inappropriate for a public cemetery, even calling for its removal.
