\nOne man became fixated on her, sending threatening messages and referencing personal details, including her grandmother\u2019s name and childhood street.
\n\u201cHe would get really angry when I didn\u2019t reply back,\u201d she recalled.
\nSara\u2019s experience mirrors what Jeremy Meeks went through after his 2014 mugshot went viral. Speaking in March 2026, Meeks described how strangers disrupted his prison visits, taking up his limited slots and preventing him from seeing family.
\n\u201cMy son\u2019s 5 years old and he doesn\u2019t understand why I\u2019m not home\u2026 I just had to ask some people not to come back,\u201d he said.
\nToday, Sara is 34 and has turned a new page. She says her past struggles \u201cstemmed from using drugs,\u201d but she has since redirected her energy into art and writing, building a life far removed from the viral fame that once defined her.
